CLSNA TENT TABLE DISPLAYS
Recently I have noticed in some photos of CLSNA tents from around the country, that the items displayed on the tables are rather sparse. Over the years, CLSNA has developed quite a number of items for display on our tent tables. I am wondering whether all our Tent Hosts are aware that these items are available. The purpose of this article is to show what is available, and so improve our displays. The photos below are taken of the table used at the Northern California Highland Games. There are items displayed at these games that are not shown, as these items are not available from CLSNA.
Figure 1 is an overall view of the table.

The center display rack for the ten handouts is homemade, and serves several purposes. First of all, it is a windproof holder for the handouts and it displays them in an easy to view angle. Only the top edges of the sheets are exposed, making control of distribution easier. It discourages people from just collecting freebies that they are really not interested in. The location at the rear of the table also aids in this control. Finally, it makes a good place to conceal your coffee cup and other useful items. If there is enough interest, I can make plans available.
Figure 2 Details of the left hand items.

The picture of Peter Lamont, our Chief, the Lamont Arms, and the Clan Insignia are printed on an inkjet printer, and framed for protection. The CLSNA Brochure is printed on 11x14 paper and folded. The Members Information Booklet, and the Scottish Songs Booklet are folded and stapled into a booklet format. The covers are heavier blue stock. The CLSNA business cards need to have your name and other information added to the document file before printing. I use Avery 8871 Business cards to print them.
Figure 3 Details of the right hand items

The right hand items include the Clan Lamont history book, which must be purchased from our Scot Shoppe, and a Photo Album. This photo album includes pictures of Lamont sites in Scotland, CLSNA activities around the USA, and Peters visit to the Santa Rosa, CA Games in 1990. It was printed on an inkjet and placed in a 3-ring binder with transparent sheet protectors. The History of Highland Dress is a document that tells you all about the history of Highland Dress. It is copied, with permission, from a very informative Website. Printed on an inkjet, and bound. The CLSNA Members CD is available for sale from our Scot Shoppe for $10.
All of these items, except the History Book, are available on a CLSNA Tent Host CD, free of charge to Tent Hosts. They are also on the CLSNA Officers CD, which all Regional Vice Presidents have. The files are in MS Word 95 and MS Word 97 format. For those whos computer can not open or print these files, I can prepare special CDs with the files in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. These will open on any computer with the proper reader available free from Adobe.
